September 33, 2005 :: Well everyone, there was a slight change in plans on who I bred Jasmine to. A change in plans I am very pleased with I might add. We decided to breed her instead to CH Ouachitah's First Knight. Knights sperm count was very high at the time we were shipping her so we decided this would be a better choice. He is line bred to CH Ouachitah's Kodiak, the second greatest producing sire and the brother to CH Ouachitah's Beau Chiene, who Jasmine is line bred to.
CH Ouachitah's First Knight is a great dog, who has produced some exceptional puppies, and does so consistantly. He also has that cute little babydoll face I am always looking for. He is an amazing little boy :). So far he has produced, BISS CH. Hi-Arc Sir Thomas of Locksley, group winning CH Davishall Amazing Grace, and group winning CH Davishall The Hands of Time, among others. He is also the grandsire of BIS winning CH Bayou's Keeper of The Flame.
We are very excited about this breeding and I can't wait to see what this cross produces. We will probably be keeping most, if not all, of the show quality puppies from this litter as we really want to have this breeding strongly in our lines. My plans for the puppies are of course to show and finish them, as well as taking them to hospitals and nursing homes every monday with the Tuscarawas Kennel Club.
Keep checking back for further updates on how Jasmine is doing!

September 13, 2005 :: Sorry for not updating for forever! Not a whole lot has been happening with my dogs. We were jsut loving them to death as normal :). However, Jasmine is going into her third heat! We are so excited. We are breeding her to "Ch. Davishall Inferno". Inferno is line bred to "Ch. Ouachitah Beau Chiene" and his father is the great "Ch. Stonehill Go Round. I will be putting a picture up of him and her on our "Upcoming Litters" page as well, so keep a look out for that. I have big plans for these puppies! I am planning on keeping one or two and showing them. I also am going to take them to Nursing Homes and Hospitals to cheer people up :).
Sorry to everyone I havn't e-mailed back yet, I have been having some problems with my Mossy Creek e-mail address. I think it is fixed now though...hopefully. So I will be getting back to everyone very soon.
Also, expect some updated pictures of Avery and Jasmine soon, both of there coats have come in very nicely since the last pictures were taken. Well take care everyone for now! I will let everyone know how the breeding goes.
March 07, 2005 :: Just to let everyone know..I am still alive! My computer hasn't been though. I have been using my moms computer but I don't have Cute FTP on her computer so I had no way of updating the site. I finally got my computer up and running again by putting in a new power supply. I also was not able to check my e-mail, so sorry to anyone I havn't e-mailed back yet but I will asap! THis is my last week of school though and I am graduating so I will respond again to everyone in about a week.
As for my Chihuahuas, Avery was fixed. We did laser surgery on him so his recovery was actually pretty quick. He is a bigger baby then every and his coat is coming inr eally nicely! I weill take some pictures of him soon and put them up so you can see his full coat. We didn't breed Jasmine after all, she still seems to be growing so we decided to wait until her fourth heat. This maybe wasn't needed but we want it to be as easy on her ( and us) as possible as this will both of ours first litter. Her last heat was in the beginning of Febuary so we are expecting her to come in again in August. Jasmine is doing very well in her socialization and soon we will be working with her for showing if all keeps going well with her.
In the meantime I will be taking handling classes as well as show handling a young Rottweiler if all goes well in my training. Although I know Rottweilers are much different then Chihuahuas I think the experience will be good for me until Jasmine is ready to show or until I start showing her puppies. I will be starting to work with the Rotty as soon as I graduate.
I also have a new job! I work at a pets supply store called "Petz Place". We don't sell any furry animals by the way, just supplies, fish and hermit crabs. We also hold Good Citizen Classes there every Wed. iT has been very nice as I have met a good number of handlers and there dogs this way. All in all I am looking forward to a good year of learning, showing, and puppies.
January 30, 2005 :: Just an update to let everyone know that everything is going well here :). I will be going to Australia for two week on the Ninth of next month so I might not be able to respond to any e-mails during this time. Also, if everything goes as planned Jasmine will go into heat and be bred sometime in May. It will be her third heat and we feel she is ready. We will let everyone know when we choose our dad. We have narrowed it down to only a few though, all Champions. We are expecting some very nice puppies.
