Hi everyone and thanks for checking out our website! We are a mother and daughter team! My name is Shannon, I am 17 and I keep up the page. My moms' name is Anita. Our love of all animals has always made us surround ourselves with them. We have horses, cats, dogs, bunnies and other things that come and go. My mother and I find that being with animals brings us together too. So we thought, "Why not raise a breed we love, and have lots of fun showing and raising pups?" After much discussion, research, and talking to many Chihuahua breeders, we have decided to do it! What made us choose to breed Chiahuahuas was our dog Tinker. You can learn more about him on our "other pets" page. He is half Chihuahua. He looks and acts just like a Chihuahua, although he shows his other half as he does have poodle hair.

I (Shannon) have always loved the showing world. I have been showing horses for around 6 years now. I am blessed with a very lovely horse named Bantu's Hott Stuff. Both his parents are National Champions so he has really good movement. My mother was my mentor and made it possible to do this. She made sure we bought a good moving horse that has really made it worthwhile and fun to show. She, also, hauled me to shows, payed for lessons and basically acted as a groom so I had the opportunity to indulge in my passion. Bantu was even in the top 5 horses of the year in Ohio for 3 years in a row! Well anyway, I decided to get into showing Chihuahuas in the AKC because I love the discipline of showing so much. I don't even mind if I win (although it is nice), I just like talking to other people that love the same thing I do. I figure if I can show a 1,000 lb. horse, I might be able to do just as well with a 2-6 lb. animal!! Hopefully, with some luck and good blood lines, we will soon have some Champions.

Our dogs aren't actually kept in a kennel. They are kept inside with us and are a part of our family. This way we can enjoy them and love them even more! We play with the puppies all the time. This makes them well socialized and loving. And, we do dress up our Chihuahuas. My Aunt even embroiders my pup's names onto some of their things. lol. I hope you enjoy our site!

Thanks
Shannon, Anita and furry babes
